Powering European businesses with Box Sign
Organisations and businesses are today processing more content and data than ever before. Digital tools, incorporated into business software, are therefore becoming increasingly important to help companies better manage their content and accelerate their workflows.
Box Sign, first announced in July 2021, is Box’s e-signature tool that offers seamless e-signatures right where content lives. Since its launch, Box Sign has proven to be a valuable solution for business productivity, with companies recognising its potential to help with hybrid and remote work models.
Over 8 in 10 workers who worked from home during the Covid-19 pandemic planned to adopt hybrid work patterns going forward from 2022, according to the UK’s Office for National Statistics. This shows that new work models are reshaping the way businesses operate, meaning future-orientated companies looking to thrive in the digital space need to adopt digital solutions, such as Box Sign, as part of their overall technology strategy to enable their employees to work from anywhere.
In EMEA, some of the positive results our customers are seeing with Box Sign include:
- Faster employee, client, vendor and partner onboarding as contracts are signed quicker
- More efficient tracking of document status in real time
- Possibility of batch sending documents out for signature to hundreds of recipients quickly
- More streamlined management of invoices, budgets and POs with audit trails of e-signatures
- Projects like campaign launches are completed faster thanks to speedier sign off and collaboration
- Reusable e-sign templates can be created and standardised for repeatable processes like supplier agreements
- Excellent tool for cost-consolidation as Box Sign offers unlimited e-signatures at no added cost
But don’t just take our word for it! Here’s what some of our EMEA customers have to say about their experience of Box Sign:
“Box Sign is helping us to maximise police resources by allowing our officers to spend more time on higher value responsibilities, and is also helping us to reduce our environmental footprint.”
The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) is a public organisation that uses Box as its secure, integrated platform to power Digital Policing and serve Northern Ireland’s 1.8 million residents.
"Since 2018, we've been using Box at PSNI to help us focus on providing more effective policing for the benefit of the community, and to keep people safe in the digital age,” Jeff McNamara, Head of Information and Communication Services at the Police Service of Northern Ireland said. “In 2022 we rolled out Box Sign, a very valuable asset in helping us to manage the process of signing witness statements both quickly and remotely. We have completed many e-signatures with Box Sign, which saves us time, costs, and helps us to expedite our investigation processes. Prior to using Box Sign, we would have to send out two officers to drive around the country to get witness statements physically signed. Box Sign is therefore helping us to maximise police resources by allowing our officers to spend more time on higher value responsibilities, and is also helping us to reduce our environmental footprint.”
“We were able to easily set up Box Sign with Box’s help and put native e-signatures into use in a fast and efficient way within just a few weeks for all of our partners.”
Leading electricity and gas supplier based in Monaco, SMEG, was keen to take advantage of Box Sign to help their teams with their daily workflows and content processes:
“When Box told us about the imminent availability of Box Sign, we were very excited about this service. It would enable us to empower our workforce with technology to help for our numerous and daily content processes to better manage our distribution, production and supply of electricity and gas throughout Monaco,” Thomas Cartereau, Chief Information Officer at SMEG said. “We were able to easily set up Box Sign with Box’s help and put native e-signatures into use in a fast and efficient way within just a few weeks for all of our partners.”
“Since adopting Box Sign, we can get documents signed in 20 seconds instead of 5 minutes”
teknowlogy Group, French software analysis and consultancy firm, is delighted that their rollout of Box Sign has proven to be both a time and cost-efficient solution for managing e-signatures:
“Since adopting Box Sign, we can get documents signed in 20 seconds instead of 5 minutes, as was previously the case with our former e-signature solutions.” said Bertrand Kummel, Head of Information Systems and Security at PAC, a teknowlogy Group company. “We now save money, time and resources by using unlimited native e-signatures in Box. This also makes it easier to archive our documents as everything is centrally managed on Box.”
The momentum for Box Sign is growing in EMEA, and more broadly, ResearchAndMarkets.com predicted Europe would be the fastest-growing digital signature market during the forecast period 2021-2026 in their global digital signature market report. It highlighted the high demand for high-end security solutions and superior customer experience in Europe is likely to drive growth in the e-signature market. Furthermore with the European Union passing eIDAS regulation in recent years to regulate electronic transactions, including e-signatures, the European digital signature market is only expected to continue to grow.
“Customers can expect to see even more innovation for Box Sign in the future.”
“The future of work is digital-first and paper-based processes hold companies back from reaching their full potential,” said Diego Dugatkin, Chief Product Officer at Box. “Since entering the e-signature space, our north star has been to deliver all customers with a simple, secure, and cost-effective e-signature solution. We are just getting started within this space, and customers can expect to see even more innovation for Box Sign in the future.”
