Box Wins 2019 Google Cloud Technology Partner of the Year Award for Productivity and Collaboration

Today, Box was recognized for our innovation and excellence, receiving the award for the Google Cloud Technology Partner of the Year Award for Productivity and Collaboration. This award has been many years in the making - since 2016, Box and Google Cloud have partnered closely to help businesses transform how their employees work. Last year, we saw the deepening of our partnership with the launch of an all-new Box for G Suite integration, bringing the collaborative content creation and editing experience of Google Docs, Sheets and Slides directly into Box. We continue to work together to improve our current integrations, as well as innovate on new ones that adapt to the way businesses are working today.

As the need to support remote work becomes more critical than ever, organizations in all industries are looking to provide their employees with modern, flexible tools that help them collaborate easily and securely no matter where they’re located. With Box’s deep integrations across G Suite, from Hangouts Chat and Gmail to Google Docs, Sheets and Slides, organizations can secure and govern their most important information without hindering the productivity of teams across the business.

In addition, Box continues to offer ways for developers and system integrators to bring AI within reach of every enterprise. Companies can leverage Box Skills as a framework and apply Google Cloud’s Platform machine learning to content stored in Box, creating structure and extracting insights from data at scale to accelerate collaboration and enhance decision making.

“We’re proud to recognize Box as our Technology Partner of the Year for Productivity and Collaboration,” said Kevin Ichhpurani, Corporate Vice President at Google Cloud. “Digital collaboration across organizations is more important than ever, and Box has deepened its integrations with G Suite, helping customers more seamlessly share information and get work done. We look forward to a continued partnership with Box, as organizations increasingly look to the cloud to work smarter.”
