Say hello to the Box Bot for Hangouts Chat

In March of last year, we announced that Box was a launch partner for Google's new G Suite product: Hangouts Chat. Today, alongside Google I/O 2018, we are excited to announce that our new Box for Hangouts Chat bot is now available, making it even easier to work in the cloud by bringing together the best of Box's secure content management with Google's intelligent productivity apps.

With Box for Hangouts Chat, you get work done more efficiently by quickly searching and locating your Box files right from within Hangouts Chat. Customers can easily log into Box directly from Hangouts Chat and ask the Box bot to quickly view recent Box files, or easily pull up a list of "favorited" Box files and folders. Employees can spend more time doing impactful work and less time searching for the right versions of files. IT can ensure content being collaborated on in Hangouts Chat is backed by Box's enterprise-grade security and compliance.

Integrating with leading solutions like G Suite enables us to deliver experiences that make it easy for organizations to get work done faster and securely.
