Welcoming Scott Leader, our new Australia, New Zealand Leader

It brings me great pleasure to welcome our new Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) leader. The former Pegasystems Managing Director, Scott Leader, joins us as Vice President to lead our ANZ business and help us capture this new and exciting market.

We already have a physical presence in ANZ with offices in Sydney and Melbourne. Scott will be responsible for growing our business across the region. In preparation, we've been incredibly busy developing and launching products like Box Zones and Box KeySafe which allow companies outside of the US to have greater flexibility and control over their data. These new technologies, along with advancements in our core product (hello Box Skills!), make us better placed than ever to expand in ANZ and accelerate our international growth.

Based in Sydney, Scott has more than 25 years of experience in revenue and growth roles across finance and software at companies such as Reuters, Bloomberg, Australian Securities Exchange, NYSE Euronext, and SunGard. Prior to joining Box, he held the role of Managing Director of ANZ at Pegasystems for four years, where he was responsible for the revenue and growth strategy of the entire ANZ region.

I’m thrilled to join Box at this exciting time, and I’m looking forward to helping to bring the power of its cloud content management to enterprises across Australia and New Zealand."

Scott's appointment in ANZ follows our continued international expansion: today we have multiple offices outside of the US including in the UK, France, Germany, Sweden, the Netherlands, Canada, and Japan.

We're absolutely thrilled to welcome Scott on board and, as a fellow Australian, I'm personally super excited for what lies ahead for us in ANZ.
