Say hallo to our new German leader!

We're thrilled to announce that we're expanding our presence in Europe by appointing a new leader for the DACH region - covering Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. We've also opened an office in Munich to bring us even closer to our regional customers and partners. Per Stritich, a former SAP executive, has joined us as vice president in our new office to focus on building our local team over the coming months.

We’ve seen increasing opportunities at large organisations across Europe. By focusing on meeting DACH’s sophisticated compliance requirements, we’ve helped remove the traditional barriers to cloud adoption. We’re delighted that Per has come on board to maximize that opportunity, and help move organisations from all industries to the cloud. We’ve chosen Munich as the location of our new office to expand our reach across Germany, Switzerland, and Austria – where we’ve identified opportunities for growth.

Per has more than 15 years of leadership experience in cloud and software companies. Prior to joining us, he held the role of Vice President of EMEA at OneLogin, leading the company from market entry to scale. Prior to that, as Vice President and Head of Cloud at SAP South Europe, he ran SAP’s entire cloud portfolio. And before SAP, Per spent seven years at the forefront of the cloud market in Europe, working as Area Vice President of Enterprise Sales for HR technology company, SuccessFactors.

Over the last few quarters we've launched Box Zones, Box KeySafe, and achieved Binding Corporate Rules (BCRs) approval, and the BSI C5 certification. This makes us better placed than ever to accelerate growth in DACH, and we're super excited about what we can achieve in the coming months. The new office in Munich adds to our existing European sites in the UK, France, Netherlands, and Sweden.
