This compliance intake demo follows a workflow that exists in many companies today.
A team needs to verify that a product’s safety data sheet and label meet a set of requirements. The documents sit on manufacturer and government websites. Someone has to find the current versions, download them, compare the details, flag discrepancies, and retain the evidence for review. Complicating that challenge even more is the fact that evidence is spread across systems that do not share a clean API.
In theBrowserbase + Box AI compliance intake demo, we see how an agent can perform that workflow from beginning to end. Here’s how it works:
- The agentopens live manufacturer and government pages in a Browserbase session
- The agent downloads the safety data sheet and product label
- Browserbase captures the original downloaded files
- The workflow uploads those files to Box,
- Content becomes part of a shared content workspace
From there, Box AI APIs turn the documents into usable inputs for the workflow. The agent asks cited questions about the safety data sheet with the Box AI Q&A endpoint. It uses structured extraction to pull fields from the documents, including text found through OCR in scanned PDFs and image-based labels into JSON metadata. This results in structured data that the workflow can check.
The demo then compares the extracted registration numbers, checks for a revision date, and marks the packet either approved or in need of review. It writes the extraction results, decision, source URL, document role, and Browserbase session ID back to Box metadata.
A reviewer can open the same files, inspect the metadata, see what the agent found, and decide what to do next.
