Tell us about your career at Box
I joined Box.net in 2012 as the first Account Executive (AE) in the EMEA region, managing both SMB and Mid-Market accounts through April 2016. While celebrating at Sales Club in Mexico, the Chief Revenue Officer at the time, Graham Younger, offered me the opportunity to relocate to Australia as the first Account Executive based locally, where I successfully served as an Enterprise AE for five years. During this time, I partnered with notable clients such as Macquarie University, the University of Adelaide, Telstra, the Reserve Bank of Australia, Origin Energy, and Macquarie Bank. In 2021, my family moved back to the UK amidst the looming pandemic. I initially covered a maternity leave for my then-manager and former teammate, Mariluisa Ribel, followed by a successful year that led to my promotion to Senior Manager. In 2024, I integrated SMB and Mid-Market sales into a new EMEA Commercial division. Now, under my leadership as the Director of Commercial Sales for EMEA, the team expanded from four Account Executive’s to 16, adding two managers and a placement student. This growth significantly increased the Commercial Sales contribution to the EMEA business, reaching 54%.
How has Box helped you grow? What are you focusing on to help your growth moving forward?
Box has been instrumental in my personal and professional growth, consistently providing opportunities to keep my role dynamic and engaging. The company fosters an environment that encourages continuous learning and development by allowing me to partner with experienced senior leaders. Initially, I worked closely with influential figures such as David Quantrell, Stuart Gammon, and Greg Strickland, who provided valuable insights and guidance. Most recently, under Mark Wayland and Olivia Nottebohm's mentorship, I look to continue to grow and develop as a manager and contribute to significant company milestones such as our "path to $2 billion". One of the pivotal moments in my career at Box was the opportunity to move regions and open the Australia office. This experience allowed me to expand my horizons and play a crucial role in establishing our presence in a new market.

The leadership team, comprised of individuals who are not only highly skilled but also deeply invested in the success and well-being of their teams, has been instrumental in shaping a positive and forward-thinking workplace. This strong sense of shared purpose has made Box more than just a workplace, making it an easy decision to stay for my 12th year and beyond.
