The Forrester Wave™: Content Platforms, Q1 2025 gave Box the highest scores possible for the criteria of enhanced security, integrations with productivity apps, developer resources, collaborative workspaces, e-signature, AI/ML (including generative AI), and content migration. Within the strategy category, Box received the highest scores possible for the criteria of innovation, roadmap, and pricing flexibility and transparency. The report noted that “a major focus on AI means [Box] has repositioned itself as an intelligent content management provider” and stated that “Box has shown a burst of innovation recently.”
In December, Box was named a Leader in the 2024 Gartner Magic Quadrant™ for Document Management, recognized for our “Ability to Execute” and “Completeness of Vision.” In late 2024, Box was also positioned as a Leader in the IDC MarketScape™: Worldwide Intelligent Content Services 2024 Vendor Assessment. The IDC MarketScape noted, “Organizations that are looking for a modern SaaS intelligent content cloud services platform should consider Box for its wide breadth of integrations, APIs, security, collaboration, and automation capabilities.”
