We’re excited to highlight key Box Hubs updates that empower end users and administrators alike. From flexible tools to help teams get organized, to centralized admin controls for greater oversight — it’s never been easier to curate, publish, and share your content.
Furthermore, to help IT leaders scale their technologies and unlock new possibilities for enterprise-wide efficiency and control, we’re introducing the new Box Hubs API, enabling developers to seamlessly integrate and extend Hub capabilities across their organizations.
Together these new capabilities will deliver a smarter, more secure, and truly collaborative content experience.
Organize content with Hubs pages

To help teams better structure and share their content, we’ve introduced Hubs pages — empowering teams to create multiple pages within a Hub. With Hubs pages, you can categorize information more effectively and easily navigate complex topics or projects.
Teams that manage extensive documentation or resources will also benefit from maintaining a clear page structure with flexible options for displaying and sharing content. With Hubs pages, users will be able to:
- Create unlimited pages to easily organize content into a simple, hierarchical structure
- Duplicate, reorder, and un-nest pages as needed to surface relevant content
- Customize the banner image and logo on each page for a branded look and feel
- Jump to a different page by using the Hubs outline on the sidebar to navigate
- Ask Box AI questions across all pages in a Hub to find content or get insights across multiple documents
Hubs pages for every department
With new dynamic ways to curate your resources, you’re looking at endless practical applications across different business teams.
- HR employee resources: Organize onboarding materials, benefits information, training guides, and company policies into dedicated pages so employees find what they need quickly
- Marketing asset portals: Create a structured portal with separate pages for brand guidelines, campaign assets, creative briefs, and approved templates for improved consistency and faster project delivery
- IT policies and procedures: Maintain clear documentation of device policies, software usage licenses, troubleshooting guides, and security best practices in one centralized location accessible to all relevant stakeholders
- Operations management: Build comprehensive Hubs for different clinical trials, and organize each Hub with pages to curate content for clinical SOPs, patient care guidelines, and training materials
With Hubs pages, organizations can effortlessly curate, publish, and present content in a clear, organized way that makes information easy to find and share across teams.
Powering enterprise governance with admin controls
Managing content curation and publishing at scale requires precision and flexibility. With admin controls for Box Hubs, administrators can configure default settings for Hubs directly from the Admin Console. Key capabilities include:
- Restrict external collaboration options to safeguard sensitive data
- Control who can modify collaborators and shared links
- Lock specific Hub settings to prevent unauthorized changes by co-owners
These controls ensure consistent policy enforcement across an organization while allowing admins and authorized co-admins to tailor settings on individual Hubs as needed. Co-owners who have specific settings locked by the admin will see clear indicators of these restrictions, helping to reduce confusion and support compliance. These new admin control defaults apply only to Hubs created after configuration; existing Hubs remain unaffected unless updated manually.
Gain greater control across every department
These new, powerful admin controls power consistent enforcement of industry-specific governance and security policies across new Hubs, helping enterprises maintain compliance and protect critical data without sacrificing collaboration agility. Here’s how improved control can show up across different lines of business:
- Financial services: Enforce strict external sharing restrictions on client reports and investment portfolios to comply with regulatory standards such as SEC or GDPR
- Healthcare: Protect patient information by restricting collaboration on Hubs containing medical research and clinical trial documentation, and lock key settings to prevent accidental exposure of sensitive health data
- Legal: Maintain control over case files and contract repositories by limiting editing rights to authorized legal teams and preventing external sharing without approval
- Manufacturing: Secure intellectual property and product design documents by restricting access and collaboration permissions to specific R&D teams, reducing risk of leaks during product development cycles
