Box AI Agents are now available in the ServiceNow AI Agent Fabric

Following our announcement at ServiceNow Knowledge,  Box AI Agents are now generally available in ServiceNow’s Agentic AI Marketplace.  Box AI Agents for ServiceNow provide easy, direct access to AI-powered data extraction and content insights within ServiceNow NowAssist. 

This means you can streamline and simplify all of your content-dependent tasks in ServiceNow, including finding contract terms during vendor discussions, summarizing product documentation for support teams, extracting requirements from RFPs, and identifying root causes in post-incident reviews.

New tools to automate your content workflows

With the general availability of this new agent, available today on the ServiceNow AI Agent Marketplace, we’re launching with two powerful new capabilities to help you get immediate value from your content.

1. The Box Data Extraction Agent

The Box Data Extraction Agent uses the ServiceNow AI Agent Fabric to connect to your content in Box to automatically and accurately identify, select, and capture critical data from files. With this agent, you can ask "What are the key counterparty names, effective/expiration dates, renewal terms, key clauses, and obligation deadlines in our contact with ACME Corp?" The agent will find and extract the right information from one or many files in Box, responding directly in Now Assist.

2. The Box Content Insights Agent 

The Box Content Insights Agent also uses the ServiceNow AI Agent Fabric to read, analyze, and generate concise summaries and key takeaways from single or multiple Box files from a single request. Ask in Now Assist, "What are the biggest risks noted in the past three risk assessments for ACME Corp?" and it will deliver a concise, bulleted summary of the key risks identified across all three documents, delivering what would otherwise be hours of work searching through documents  in seconds.

Powering every workflow: OOTB and custom-built

These two agents are fully integrated into ServiceNow Now Assist for use today. You can access the full power of Box AI by connecting the remote Box MCP server to any agent built in  the ServiceNow AI Agent Studio, ensuring you can draw insights from your secure Box content directly in the ServiceNow Now Assist interface.
