Welcoming our new EMEA leader - David Benjamin

It is my great pleasure to welcome David Benjamin to Box as our new SVP and General Manager for EMEA. A former British Telecom (BT) Executive, David joins us today to lead our EMEA organisation from London.

David comes on board at a critical time in our European growth. Following our recent launches of Box Zones, Box KeySafe, and our Binding Corporate Rules (BCRs) approval, we've never been better placed to drive our European business. We’ve removed the traditional barriers to cloud adoption and made it easier than ever for enterprises to move to Box for secure collaboration.As well as servicing our existing regions, David will focus on growing our German presence, which will be made easier through our recent product, regulation, and compliance updates. We also intend to open an office in Germany to be closer to our customers and provide them with local support. This also builds on our recent office openings in Amsterdam and Stockholm.

David has a deep understanding of enterprise customer needs and a track record of senior leadership, growing teams and revenue, and expanding businesses. He spent almost a decade at BT, where he served as VP of Global Services, leading a multi-hundred-million-dollar enterprise-focused business unit. He delivered outstanding levels of growth through cloud, mobile and digital services. Before that, he spent 12 years at Guardian Media Group and served, among other leadership roles, as divisional COO. David holds a degree in European Business and an MBA.
