Tweet for Good to Support human-I-T at #BoxWorks Digital

It’s the year 2020 and yet 82 million Americans lack access to a home computer with internet. With many schools closed because of the pandemic, access to devices and connectivity is more critical than ever. This BoxWorks, we’re partnering with human-I-T, a nonprofit organization providing low-income individuals and nonprofits with technology, internet, and digital training.  

With over 150,000 computers disposed of in the United States daily, human-I-T partners with corporations, government entities, nonprofits and the general public to turn e-waste into an opportunity. In hopes shining a light on the incredible work of human-I-T, we’re excited to launch a Tweet for Good at BoxWorks.  

This Thursday, for every tweet using the hashtag #BoxWorks, we’re pledging to contribute $5 per tweet to human-I-T, with a donation totaling up to $15,000. For every $100 raised, we can provide a hotspot for a student and their family, and for every $140 we can provide a refurbished laptop.
