By combining the powerful CrowdStrike Falcon® Zero Trust Assessment (ZTA) with Box Shield, our customers can ensure that only trusted, secure devices are accessing their most sensitive content.

Threats are moving fast, so security should be faster

Bad actors are accelerating their attacks to speeds that are virtually unmanageable by old school security strategies. The rate and volume of attack increases by the day, and what’s even scarier, the speed of breakout (how long it takes from breach to spread) is exceeding what security teams can handle. As highlighted in the CrowdStrike 2024 Global Threat Report, the fastest observed breakout time in 2023 was 2 min 7 sec, way faster than even a vigilant admin can react. Seamlessly integrated security

The combination of the Box Content Cloud and Box Shield with the CrowdStrike Falcon platform solves the problem of fast attackers by providing rapid, automated protection for our customers. By layering cloud-based security built on deep insight into user content and collaboration with industry-leading endpoint-based protection from CrowdStrike, our customers are now able to ensure that potentially compromised or high-risk devices are prevented from accessing (and possibly compromising) sensitive content in Box.

With this new integration, Box Shield is able to ingest Falcon ZTA scores from CrowdStrike, and the Box admin can set a threshold for acceptable risk levels from devices accessing Box. The Falcon ZTA score assesses a wide array of metrics to determine the endpoint device’s security posture, and any device beneath the required threshold will be denied access. This integration delivers:
