Shiseido Moves 10,000 Employees to Box

Today, from Japan we are announcing that Shiseido, Japan’s largest cosmetics company, is moving 10,000 employees to Box. Our platform will be key to strengthening the company’s communication and collaboration across teams, which is one of Shiseido’s most critical global initiatives. Shiseido has chosen Box to enable its staff to share and collaborate on files and to improve content management across the workforce.

As well as being a leader in cosmetics, Shiseido also prioritizes providing the latest technology to its employees. Box helps customers like Shiseido to manage content securely and makes it possible for better communication and greater collaboration. This enables staff to become much more productive.

Specifically, by implementing Box, Shiseido aims to:

• Increase productivity and efficiency across multiple disparate teams by using content collaboration features;
• Reduce costs and beef-up security by moving its on-premise file server to the cloud with Box.
