O Canada: We Bring You Box Zones

Calling all Canadians: we're thrilled to announce that Box Zones is now generally available in Canada. We've expanded our reach to Montreal so Canadian organizations can now address their data privacy and data residency concerns as they move to the cloud.

Zones is just one of the Box capabilities that makes adopting the cloud easier than ever. We're also proud to offer Box KeySafe, which lets companies manage their own encryption keys, and Box Governance, which allows organizations to apply document retention schedules and legal holds to their files in the cloud.

Companies that use Box Zones can now choose to store their data in Canada, Europe, Asia and Australia. And in the near future, businesses will be able to choose a specific infrastructure partner — including Amazon Web Services and IBM Cloud. As we continue to grow our Zones network, we're focused on making sure organizations across the globe have the tools they need to leverage the full power of the cloud.
