Mitie Selects Box for Cloud Content Management
Today, we are thrilled to announce Mitie has extended their relationship with Box in the UK! The UK’s leading facilities transformation company, Mitie has been a Box customer since 2020 and uses Box Platform to support critical payroll processes for its 60,000+ employees. With Box, Mitie delivers an API-first solution that integrates seamlessly with SAP, automates permissions as well as onboarding and offboarding, all while delivering a full audit trail. Mitie’s decision to retire its previous solution and deploy Box contributed to cost savings of over six figures per year.
“Mitie is committed to working with cutting-edge cloud solutions to improve the performance of our buildings, the wellbeing and productivity of our colleagues, and continue innovating for our customers. With our market-leading technology strategy, we aim to create safe, clean and energy efficient workspaces of the future,” said Gareth Rees, Head of Enterprise Architecture at Mitie. “With Box, we deliver a digital-first, seamless payroll experience to our 65,000 colleagues.”
We look forward to our continued partnership as Mitie expands its use of the Content Cloud. Together, we’ll work to identify additional use cases for Box within the organisation, including how Box AI can help Mitie unlock the value of unstructured data to further optimize efficiency and bolster its security posture.
With today’s announcement, Mitie joins leading British organisations that have adopted Box’s Content Cloud to power new ways of working such as BT, Arriva, and The Met Police. For more on Box solutions, click here.
