- Ability to enforce Box’s enterprise-grade security and permissions. Only authorized users can see the preview, ensuring your most sensitive content remains secure even in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
- A single source of truth, always: Previews in Slack automatically update to show the latest changes made in Box. This eliminates the risk of teams working from outdated versions and solidifies Box as your single source of truth for all critical content.
- Streamlined experience: The new design makes it easier and more intuitive to interact with your content. Clicking on a file preview will open a side panel, giving you more details and quick actions related to your Box file.
- Box AI at your fingertips: Continue using the "Ask Box AI" button, but now it’s in a more intuitive spot right on the preview. This makes it even simpler to summarize a document, extract key insights, or get answers from your content without breaking your stride. Because Box AI operates on your governed content within Box, you can trust the answers are accurate and secure.

- HR: Employee onboarding manager can quickly answer new hire benefits questions in Slack, querying Box AI in Box Hubs in Salesforce to provide instant, accurate answer right in the conversation. Managers can share materials that are always up to date.
- Sales: Account executives can share a contract from Box in a Slack channel tied to a Salesforce Opportunity, allowing managers to actively preview and approve the deal instantly within the conversation.
- Customer Service: Field agents, working in Salesforce Service Cloud, can share technical documents from Box, like images and design files right in a Slack channel.
