Tens of thousands of our customers across every industry and in every region around the world are using Box together with Microsoft. That's why we are continually improving the Box experience with Microsoft to be as seamless as possible, providing users with a powerful combination to transform the way they work. We have integrations with Microsoft Office 365, Teams, Outlook, across the Microsoft security and identity product portfolio, and more.
Today, Microsoft announced the GA of Microsoft Graph connectors at Microsoft Ignite. As a launch partner, Box is excited to integrate with Microsoft Graph to provide our joint customers with an even more seamless and interoperable experience between the two platforms.
With the Box Connector for Microsoft Graph, content in Box can be surfaced across the Microsoft ecosystem, including Office 365, Office Online search, and SharePoint. This makes it easier for joint Box and Microsoft users to discover, explore, and navigate content, reducing the friction for users that need to manage content across multiple platforms for a truly integrated experience.
The Box Connector for Microsoft Graph delivers the following benefits for end users:
- Accessibility: Wherever you are in the Microsoft application environment, you’ll have access to your Box content so that you’ll always have the latest version of a file at your fingertips. You won’t waste time searching across various content repositories looking for the file or reconciling different versions of a file to consolidate and update information.
- Interoperability: Box has done a lot of work over the years to enhance interoperability with Microsoft. This Box connector for Microsoft Graph takes the Box experience in Microsoft to the next level by connecting Box and Microsoft across many more endpoints for users.
- Frictionless security: Wherever Box content is surfaced, Box’s enterprise grade security and compliance automatically applies to that content, so you have greater peace of mind.
The Box Connector for Microsoft Graph will be generally available for Box and Microsoft customers in early 2021. To see the Box Connector for Microsoft Graph in action and learn how it can help connect your Box content to Microsoft Search and Microsoft 365, check out this Microsoft Ignite session.
