Box Teams Up with IntApp: A Competitive Advantage For Law Firms

The past two years have seen a revolution in cloud computing, and law firms are prime for adoption, according to Gartner. Cloud technologies help legal CIOs consolidate a previously fragmented global infrastructure, and give attorneys the tools they need to work with clients anywhere, anytime, including on mobile devices. Some law firms, though, are still hesitant to move to the cloud, out of an understandable concern for the security of their most sensitive legal documents.

That's why we're excited to announce Box's new integration with IntApp, which will allow law firms to monitor the security of any documents stored in Box. IntApp’s Activity Tracker lets you set document use thresholds in Box; if sensitive documents are accessed more frequently than expected, you’ll be notified of any abnormal activity. IntApp joins a wide ecosystem of Web and Box OneCloud mobile partner apps, including ClioNotabilityiAnnotate and Breezy, just to name a few.

With so many options for productivity and security, it's no surprise that Box saw a 70 percent increase in law firms using our products in 2012 alone, with organizations like Perkins Coie and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati coming on board. Box makes the headaches of sharing information across offices and teams a thing of the past, allowing for greater attorney productivity (and more billable hours).

If you’d like to learn more about how legal IT leaders use Box and our app partners, I’m hosting a webinar on February 21st, where you’ll hear how law firms have capitalized on consumerization trends and the cloud to benefit their attorneys and clients, without compromising security, management and control. I hope you'll join us and learn how the cloud can make a difference for your firm!
