What Security Pros Will Find at #BoxWorks 2014

By

If you’re responsible for information security at your organization, you have a great reason to attend BoxWorks. We’ve put together a full two-day Security and Trust track (download track agenda here) to break down the tough security questions we’ve been discussing with our customers over the past year. We’ll dive deep into the challenges and solutions that we’ve heard again and again — no matter what size company we’re talking to — and explore the future of security in the cloud.

This year’s speakers include CISOs and security leaders from companies like Cisco, GE, Honeywell, McKesson, Pandora and more. You’ll also hear from C-level executives at innovative security firms like CloudPassage, Netskope, Okta and Skyhigh. This is the only forum where you can hear from each of the key players transforming the security industry as well as discover best practices you can take back to your team.

Interested? Check out a few of the many sessions we’re planning:

  1. Transforming Enterprise Security. Sit down for a fireside chat with our Chief Trust Officer, Justin Somaini; John Stewart, CSO and SVP of Cisco; and Bryan Mann, Chief Enterprise Architect at GE to understand why security models haven’t kept up with the rapid transformation of IT. More importantly, learn what a new model could look like and hear the latest thinking from leading practitioners, analysts, vendors and cloud providers.
  2. Securing Content in the New Perimeter. This session will discuss how to get ahead of changing security perimeters in the cloud and the steps organizations can take to improve protection and visibility of critical content.
  3. Secure Mobility: Get Safe Productivity Anywhere. Mobile experts from World Bank Group will share how they keep mobile productivity secure around the globe, ways to develop requirements for a mobile initiative, and lessons from their rollout to end users.

The track also includes sessions about other rapidly transforming security topics, including secure mobility, data loss prevention (DLP) in the cloud and eDiscovery in the cloud. You will be able to talk to Box product and security experts, Box customers and emerging cloud partners. It’s your chance to hear several perspectives at once and learn from people like you who are managing these challenges in their organizations.
