weezer Heads to San Francisco for BoxWorks 2012

By

Though we just announced even more BoxWorks speakers, we simply can’t stay quiet about all the great stuff we have planned for this year. In 2011, we had a great time rocking out with customers, partners and techies to the sounds of Third Eye Blind at our afterparty in downtown San Francisco.

This year, we’re bringing more world-famous rockers to the Bay for an epic, can’t-miss performance at the massive Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. weezer, the band behind smash hits like “Buddy Holly” and “Say It Ain’t So,” will delight the crowd at this year’s BoxWorks afterparty. It’s going to be a really fun night, and we can’t wait to sing along to our favorite songs with you.

We’re really big weezer fans at BoxHQ, so we’re going to spend the next month and a half listening to our favorite songs and getting pumped. Check out the music video below, and tell us what your favorite songs are in the comments below or on Twitter with the hashtag #BoxWorks.

The afterparty will be an amazing end to a conference chock-full of fun and insights, so make sure to get plenty of rest the night before. Partying hard takes a lot of work, after all.

Oh, one more thing: To celebrate, we’re taking $200 off tickets for the next 24 hours. You have until tomorrow (8/24/2012) at 9:00 am, PST to take advantage of this offer, so grab a BoxWorks ticket for only $299 or a developer day pass for just $99.

Get excited!
