Lights, Camera, Collaboration! Box and Corel Team Up to Put Filmmakers in the Cloud

By

As the entertainment industry becomes increasingly connected to the digital world, filmmakers and other content creators need an easy to way to access their important files from anywhere. Today, we’re excited to announce that Box is teaming up with Corel – makers of the leading video-editing software, Pinnacle Studio – to make it easier for film editors to access, store and share video content.

With this integration, users will be able to import footage from Box to edit on their desktop, or upload their completed projects to Box – giving them anytime, anywhere access to their work. And with the added security and tracking features of Box, it’s super easy for editors to share videos with coworkers and friends. Even cooler, with the new Pinnacle Studio iPad app, users can capture and edit video content on their iPad, then save it to Box with just a few taps.

The best part: The integration’s available to all Pinnacle Studio 16 users now, and editors that access it can even sign up for a 25GB personal Box account for free (automatically upgraded to a 50GB account if you’ve registered your software with Corel directly). Pinnacle Studio 16 is available directly from Corel and the iPad app is available now in the App Store.

We’re excited about this partnership, and can’t wait to see what filmmakers come up with using the integration. We’re ready for our close-up! :)

I bought the Pinnacle Studio Program for Windows and it does not allow you to upload to Box. As well as you cannot get the 50 GB if you cant login to BOX.com through the Pinnacle Studio Program.
