Grab Your FREE 50 GB Before Midnight Tonight, PST

By , Social Media Manager

Today’s your last day to grab your free space in the cloud with an iPad, iPhone or iPod! Over the last 50 days, we’ve offered 50 GB of space for FREE to anyone who uses Box on an iOS device. The promotion is over in a few scant hours, so get your storage asap. Just read this blog post for all the details.

After you download the app, take a look at some of our tips for maximizing your 50 GB. And if you don’t have an iOS device, don’t worry – we currently have another promotion running for users who own an Android-powered LG smartphone or tablet. As always, keep your eyes on the blog; we’ll have more fun stuff coming your way in the near future.

Thank you for the storage, most other cloud services only offer 5GB. I’ll be using this one as my main cloud account now, THANKS AGAIN!

This has really saved my butt a lot. I love this site. I use it in place of a flash drive, and luckily it isn’t blocked in schools! Score!

DON’T GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR CREDIT CARD TO HAVE ON FILE. THEY WILL CHARGE YOU WITH OUT SENDING NOTIFICATION OR AN INVOICE! THEIR TERMS OF SERVICE SAY THIS BUT THIS PRACTICE IS ILLEGAL. THEY OF COURSE DON’T BOTHER TO POINT THIS OUT TO YOU WHEN YOU SIGN UP. THEY HAVE NO MANAGEMENT ON SHIFT ON THE WEEKENDS TO DEAL WITH SERIOUS ISSUES. WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF THE SITES WERE HACKED WE WOULD HAVE TO WAIT FOR SOMEONE TO SHOW UP ON MONDAY AND MEANWHILE OUT CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION HAS BEEN STOLEN AND THE BARN DOOR IS WIDE OPEN! THEY HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DON’T CARE ABOUT EXISTING CUSTOMERS. THEY JUST WANT TO SUCK YOUR BUSINESS IN AND TAKE YOUR MONEY. THEY PROMISE ALL KINDS OF SERVICE AND FEATURES BUT ONCE YOU SIGN THERE IS NOTHING OF THE KIND. THINGS BEGIN TO DISAPPEAR AND THERE IS NO RESPONSE!

Any chance of extending this offer??? I’ve just signed up but I was too late for the 50GB so I’ll probably delete soon :(

rakesh December 4th, 2011

I dont find it too useful as it does not allow to operate at the folder levelunless and until you upgrade which then becomes expensive. Selecting files to upload becomes cumbersome and 50GB availability is of no use unless you have lot of patience.

Other Emails December 5th, 2011

yes please extend this and i will drop dropbox

hey I missed it!!!!!!! please xtend your promotion

L December 7th, 2011

So even though the promotion is still on the home page, it’s no longer active (for the iPhone anyway).
If this is the case please remove the text “Box is giving free 50 GB accounts for 50 days to iPhone and iPad users, helping them access and share files from anywhere.” from the HOME PAGE…
Signed up yesterday with an iPhone, and only 5GB. Boo!
