Quick Access to Your Recent Content

By

If you’re anything like me, one of your favorite things about Box is being able to stay informed about all the important projects your colleagues are working on. The Updates tab is a great way to do this, but do you ever wish you could see all the recent activity without leaving your current page and scrolling through all the updates? Well, today you can with a new feature we’re rolling out.

Next to the Updates tab in the top of your Box account, there’s now a drop-down option that lists the six most recently updated files and folders. See what’s been previewed, added, deleted, commented on, moved or updated by your collaborators on Box, without having to leave your current view.

We’ve also added the drop-down view next to the Files tab, which gives you quick access to the most-recent files you’ve personally worked with – including what content you’ve added, moved, downloaded, updated or commented on. This one’s a big time-saver when you’re editing a few documents stored in different locations and want to quickly switch between them.

The drop-down options are now live for everyone, so check it out and let us know what you think!

Brandon, great but could you add this feature to the Android app as is in the iPad app?
