/bin – Let the Innovation Begin

By

Last week, we officially launched the Box Innovation Network (/bin) at Dogpatch Studios in San Francisco, and I’d like to extend an enormous thank you to all of our partners and guests who came and helped make the event a huge success. A special thanks to our panel – Gaurav Dhillon, CEO of SnapLogic; Jeff Haynie, CEO of Appcelerator; Oren Teich, COO of Heroku and Jerry Chen, VP of Cloud and Application Services for VMware – they gave some fantastic thoughts into innovation, and it was really a pleasure to get such an insightful group of Silicon Valley leaders together in one place. And, of course, thanks to Eric Ries, and thanks for making management and accounting sexy :).

Now that the party’s over, though, we’re ready to get started fulfilling /bin’s mission – bringing innovation back to the enterprise. We had a great crowd of young, disruptive companies in attendance last night, and we’re excited to work with all of them to build the tools that companies need to do their work conveniently, efficiently, and securely in the cloud.

We know there are plenty more people out there who share our vision, and we want to hear from all of you. If you’re interested in being part of /bin, just go to www.box.com/bin to find out more about the program and submit and application.
